So who is feeling GOOD?

Thread Starter
My EDD is March 25th, and I typically go a bit late, so I kind of snickered when I logged into this due date club, I'm thinking I might easily go until April. I'm 37 weeks today, and I feel so fabulous. I'm 36 1/2 years old, and really had some tough times during this pregnancy with fatigue, but now...I feel awesome!

I think one of the things that has made a difference this time around is I've been really committed to working out at least 3 times a week, and I've been doing lots of cardio, really building up my stamina. I got back from the gym tonight and feel so....great! My attitude is positive, I'm visualizing baby starting to descend into my pelvis...I feel so centered and on track. And while on the one hand I'm so excited to hold my little precious newborn, on the other hand, I feel so much more patient than I ever have before. Maybe because this is my last baby, or maybe just because I have so much knitting and work to finish up LOL

What are you doing to stay upbeat and healthy and happy these last few weeks?

Good for you. I'm not pregnant right now, but when I was, I was at the gym every morning for an hour before work. And then when I went on maternity leave and went a week past my due date, I had even more time to spend at the gym! I felt great my whole pregnancy.

Physically, I am feeling better than most moms at this point it seems (38w this Sat). I think credit is largely due to seeing a chiro regularly since about October. Just feeling large and awkward, but that's par for the course and it doesn't really bother me, just slows me down a bit. Sleeping well, getting a lot of complements, keeping up with my 3.5 year old ok. Emotionally though I'm struggling a bit - I started having acute anxiety attacks about a week ago and I'm still trying to figure out how to stop them when I feel them coming on. I had some success last night so hopefully I've found the trick. *shrug* But overall I'm in no rush to be done and I'm enjoying this time.

I've been feeling really good the past couple of days. I always seem to feel great at the beginning of the week because my chiro visits are on Mondays and my yoga is on Wednesdays. The end of last week I was miserable- everything hurt. I wasn't nice to anyone. But now I feel great! Boy, the ups and downs of pregnancy...

I am almost 39 weeks, and I feel all right! I am having swelling issues, which is uncomfortable if not painful in my hands/ankles/feet, so as long as I am able to lay down for a while a few times a day to help manage that, I am not in a lot of discomfort.

I take belly dancing classes (and have been for about a year and a half) 2x a week do a bit at home, too, and that helps a lot w/my posture as well as being a gentle aerobic workout.

Knowing that this is my last pregnancy probably help keeps things in perspective, too.

Truthfully- I have to say I am feeling good too. The last couple weeks I had some serious discomfort caused by pulling one of my ab muscles- but it is nearly healed now. Plus since I have been off work the swelling in my feet has been so much better (and I have gotten tons of rest).

I'm feeling gigantic- but I guess it's because I am, in fact, gigantic- and ready to have this baby- but good. 40w and 2 days today.

I'm doing well, too. I'm at 37 weeks and feeling very good. I can't attribute it to exercise as I haven't seen any of that since my 2nd tri. But, I was in a huge amount of constant pain for 5-6 weeks in my 2nd tri as my ribs were expanding 4 inches, so I think everything in comparison is exceedingly minor.

Off and on for me. But for the past week, I feel much better with some sleep and help from dh. I feel pretty darn good actually! Here's to all that continuing for all of us!!!

Yay! I love feel good threads. I am also feeling fabulous. I just turned 37 weeks, and am physically, emotionally, and mentally awesome. I'm still walking my dog at least a mile everyday, doing weekly yoga, getting plenty of sleep, and next week I'm on spring break from school, so that's even more awesome. I'm anxious to meet my little one, and feel very heavy and HUGE, but really, I'm in great shape. I'm glad I'm not the only one

I'm feeling good too! My due date is somewhere around March 31-April 2nd, but my son came about a week and a half early, so I've been hanging out over in this ddc more often...

I'm still working, working out, eating decently, etc. I definitely think staying active chasing a toddler, as well as working out regularly and eating healthier has helped me stay feeling so good....

I have several friends who are due around the same time I am who have all been MISERABLE for weeks, so I hate talking to them about how I feel!

I'm almost at 40 weeks and feel pretty good. For awhile I was miserable - my pulse was consistently above 110 - I was having wicked sciatica pain which made moving at all unpleasant. But for the past few weeks I've felt great (except for the peeing on myself, I think baby has dropped in the last week or so). Pulse is back down in the 80s. It makes me wonder if this little guy isn't in it for the long haul. Maybe I've got a 42 weeker here.

In the meantime, right now the sun is shining, it's 70 something degrees here in South GA and my two little guys are playing in their bathing suits in the sandbox while I catch some son and play on the laptop. Life is good.

I am feeling pretty good too. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and other than some pelvis tightness I feel good. I just get tired easy but I am really PG and trying to take care of the house and 3 kids and all that good stuff. I just can't wait to see who has been inside of me this whole time :

Good here! For the most part this pregnancy has been really easy physically. I have been able to get to the Chiropractor almost every week and even have massages regularly, plus yoga and hiking. I had a rough start with really bad morning sickness, but other than that life is good.

I'm at 38 weeks. Emotionally there are a few ups and downs...but mostly I walk around in a bliss bubble. Can't wait to find out who has been living inside there and wiggling all around.

Glad you posted! I was going to post about feeling "too good to be true." This is my third pregnancy and I've never been really miserable, but I have never felt this good at 38 weeks either. I honestly think the difference is my visits to the chiropractor, since I ate just as healthy with DS and have always gained the same amount of weight.

I actually told my midwife today that it's almost concerning to me that I feel so good. It makes me afraid I'm not going to have a baby soon. I've never gone past my EDD and really don't want to this time if I can help it!

I have been feeling pretty good too. Of course I could do without the swollen feet! I am still working my regular job and before and after school care, plus daycare on Sunday mornings and children's yoga classes on Sunday afternoons. I am afraid that I am really going to start to "feel it" when I stop working in a week and a half. I am due March 23, but think I will also hold out until April. The only thing that makes me nervous about that is not working for two whole weeks and being idle. ugh!

I want to go see a chiropractor.. and an acupuncturist, and a masseuse.

I am also feeling pretty good - mainly due to a great support system, but also because I am able to be a support system for my grandparents. Ya know, giving and receiving, it is nice when there is a balance.

Can I just put a plug in for physical therapy? Admittedly, it is my job, but I truly love the profession. Knowing the right exercises to do to correct my pubic symphysis pain has been a godsend, and helping other people find pain relief and improved function through movement is just so rewarding. I am working up until a couple days before the EDD, and I really don't mind that at all. So far, I am still able to suppress grunts getting up off the floor!

Now that my PUPPS rash is gone (THANK GOODNESS!!!), I am feeling great as well. I can't say I have been exercising as much as I would have liked this pregnancy but I do feel like I am in pretty good shape. My body feels great - and I don't have that huge feeling that i had with DD. It's nice to be feeling good!!!

Emotionally, though, I am not feeling so awesome...at least today. But, that is the way it goes - some good days, some not so good days. All in all, i can't really complain!
