Hey all. Anyone like to knit? : I would love to do a little get together with other knitters. My two other weekly groups are tons 'o fun, but I would love to get together with other non mainstream knitting mamas. Anyone? We could do B&N or something like that. We could do my house, but it is small and there are lots 'o kids (LOTS! ), but if you don't mind noise and chaos and clutteryness (is that a word????) . . . .

I might be interested as well. I wouldn't exactly call myself a knitter as I've only ever knitted a scarf which I actually haven't yet finished... Why do scarves have to be so long!! It might give me a good excuse to try to finish it though. I'm in the Seacoast area too.

I'm in Tyngsboro, MA (Nashua, essentially). There are groups around here, but I never feel comfortable bringing my 2.5 yo - having other mamas around would be great!

I think the B&N on South Willow St in Manchester would be awesome. I already have one group that meets there during the week, so I know they are cool with us just hanging and knitting. They also have an awesome play area. Your LO would probably love it there!

What days look good for everyone? I already have groups on Wednesday and Friday nights. Personally I prefer evenings (but I am open to midday) as DH is home to watch the kids most often. Anyone can bring their kids, but I like the break from watching mine. I spend all day wrangling 6 kids, so for me this will be a mommy's free time. But again, bring yours if you want, I am down with watching someone elses cute LO play.

The Hillsborough Cty chapter of Holistic Moms has a monthly knitting night. Can't get more like-minded.

Hi! -Both- our kids will be close in age and I live in MA (Groton) also. Would love to do some knitting (perhaps a knit & nurse)

Hopefully we can figure something out...!
