I have ordered and or purchased everything I need for baby, so my "to do" list is more about getting the house in order and how I want it so I can simply rest after baby... so here it goes:

Paint 2 rooms upstairs (childrens bedrooms)
Paint kitchen downstairs
Paint upstairs and downstairs hallways
Put up curtains in my bedroom
Put up curtains in the childrens bedrooms
Keep the house organized and tidy

:-)

I plan to paint one room a week until all rooms are done. I've already painted 5 rooms!

- Rearrange office into birthing room
- inflate and clean out pool
- buy more chux pads (done)
- Buy birth announcements (done)
- Buy baby a dresser
- print out in case of transfer birth plan (done)
- Clean car seat (done)
- Clean bassinet (done)
- Clean baby bathtub
- inflate birth ball

And all of this needs to be done by my home visit - in like 3 weeks! ACK Do I really have 4 weeks left till I can have this baby at home? Well no wonder why I feel like crap lol.

ETA: Boy am I behind. Actually I looked for birth announcements and couldn't find any so I will have to print them out. I think I will use dhs drawers for the baby clothes till we can get a dresser. He will have a few empty ones after today. And while I am online I mine as well print out the in case of transfer birth plan. The other stuff will have to wait.

I found some beautiful birth announcements at Big Lots of all places lol. I am using dhs drawer for the baby clothes. I printed out my birth plan too.

I just updated my list, it was pretty satisfying!! I know I have plenty more to add to it that I haven't done yet, but still feels good to be getting the "big" stuff taken care of!
Ummm...I don't know and am kind of scared to think about it!

All that I can think of is:
Tour the hospital
Pack my hospital bag (his is packed already)
Do birth plan
Buy sling

I've already done baby laundry, yadda, yadda, yadda. I may make some food for the freezer, but not sure, yet. Someone should start a post on good freezable recipes (casseroles and such?) for us.
Most of my list depends on if we are moving or not. But heres the in general baby stuff:

- Wash and prep diapers and covers
- Wash dd's old newborn gender neutral clothes and a few girly ones
- Finish hypnobabies
- Prepare freezer meals
- Buy homebirth supplies
- Get pool from my doula
- Take pregnancy portraits
- Knit one or two more soakers
- Return dd's old crib (recalled) buy her and baby new beds
- File taxes asap

If we are moving thats a whole can of worms there but I will at least get to set up a nursery since we will have three bedrooms instead of two!

Oh boy.
My list of still-needs-to-be-done:

1. Everything.

The end.

eta: I have no idea why there's a Canadian flag on my post. I mean, I am Canadian, but it's not relevant to this thread or anything!

I just made my list of things to do before the baby comes, and there's 35 things on it. Yup And some of them have to be done by this week! I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed!
Here's mine

- Set up crib in DD’s room. DONE!
- Try to find spots for DD’s big toys once crib is set-up KINDA DONE
- Find space in our bedroom for playpen. - Nah decided to wait to have the baby for that!
- Organize closet and changing station to have room for baby clothes/dipes. Not quite finished with diapers storage
- Make a few pairs of tiny longies out of used sweaters I have bought a while ago.
- Sew some more babylegs.
- Hem 3 more receiving blankets. Hemmed 2 so far
- Sew a set of matching minkee blankets for baby and DD. Not done yet
- Cover a few pillows for the couch.
- Redo our shelving unit in the living room. Done, just need to dispose of a box of books now
- Get 2nd car seat. – Installing it will be a breeze since we are getting baby a Radian identical to DD’s. Done
- Get spider webs off the ceiling.Did a few
- Clean up fridge. Not yet
- Prepare stuff for the freezer: a big batch spaghetti sauce, some marinated chicken skewers and make a big stack of burger patties. 8 casseroles sitting there. Made spaghetti sauce, but ate it all
- Distract DD for a week-end while she tries to help DH change the bathtub and surround. (It is hard, my toddler loves tools, and she thinks she helps...) DONE
- Clean up the stuff from my bedroom and kitchen counter before the MW home visit :-) Bedroom almost done. Kitchen counter not.
- Find a used pram that I like (ideally an older peg perego with reversible handle and removable bassinet...) DONE
- Order birth supplies kit and gather everything in a Rubbermaid. DONE
- Put together a basket of special toys and books to keep DD occupied beside me while baby nurse.
- Find my pouch sling or make another one if it doesn’t resurface anytime soon. I still wonder where it went
- And here’s the weird one: bury last year’s miscarried baby. We have it in the freezer. Not done yet :-(

I don't know where else to update this, but I finally found the midwives that are going to take me on as a transfer! That was one of the biggest (well, it was the biggest) thing on my to-do list. This is a huge relief!! I already have an appointment with them on Thursday! :

Who are you going with? You're a neighbor now, right? :-)
1. Get the black mold cleaned out of the room we're moving DS2 into.
2. Replace the windows in said room.
3. Paint said room.
4. Buy a bed for DS2 (and try to transition him into sleeping in it instead of his crib turned toddler bed.... not likely the baby will sleep in the crib for a while anyway, but...)
5. Freeze meals.
6. Way too much other stuff completely unrelated to baby and/or birthing..
And I, too, have been completely putting this off. Since you all are "forcing" me to do this, I guess I will. :-) :-) :-)

1. unpack the homebirth supplies a friend gave us to see what we still need to get
2. figure out where the changing table and new dresser will go
3. get a new dresser
4. make a list of things for our family to get for us since they'll want to (thinking housecleaner visit, take out food gift certs)
5. talk to my parents about the plans for when I go into labor
6. make an appt with the chiro to have the "Webster technique" to encourage this one to TURN baby TURN
7. find the infant clothes (finally went through my daughter's old clothes and can't find any of the baby-baby stuff, only 18 months and up!)
8. plan another "Daddy-daughter" night to continue getting Maya used to the idea of going to sleep without me
9. think on this list some more
