My 17mth pulls on his foreskin really really hard!

So my DS has discovered he can stretch his penis really far. He grabs the end of his foreskin and pulls with his little thumb and index finger. My question is, it seems as if the foreskin is loose. You can see the shape of the glans under the skin but the tip of the skin is really fused together still. I always thought the whole foreskin was attached to the glands, like around the whole head. But it seems as though the skin is detached from the inside but stuck together on the tip. Does that make sense? I am not worried, just a little confused. I of course dont try to retract DS as all. But I just noticed this when I was changing his diaper and he started grabbing down there.

What you describe about the tip being tight while the foreskin around the head looking loose when he pulls is very much normal. During normal separation most of the time the foreskin will release around the glans while the tip stays tight.

I was just reading here about what names parents use for boys genitals and one mama said "dont pull it over your shoulder" lol it is very common for them to do this and it helps with the natural seperation process. When it hurts they stop.
