A Little Daycare Provider Venting-Again

Well, I have posted here regarding my daycare provider in the past & have had many issues & finally have put a 2 weeks notice in & am changing daycares.

Just some history: I have had many communication issues with my current dcp, including one where my husband asked a simple question which was turned back on us saying we were "overprotective parents" & the other parents just "let her do her thing." Apparently as a parent we are forbidden to ask her questions.

Well, I supply all food for my dd & I send fruit, yogurt, kashi fruit bars, vegetables, string cheese & a main dish-usually pasta & some kind of protein. There were 3 days in a row that I noticed written on her sheet that there was no yogurt, fruit or kashi fruit bars offered to her. I also noticed that instead of offering my dd the foods I gave her as snacks, she gave her just cheerios & water for a snack, or these "veggie chips" & water or juice.

I'm thinking what the heck am I sending all this food for? Also, I don't see these as substantial snacks. I asked her about the yogurt & said "I'm curious as to why Erin hasn't been having the yogurt, is she not wanting it lately?" I get back "Sometimes I can't deal with 3 babies eating yogurt." Meaning it's way too messy for her. DD feeds herself yogurt with a spoon (dipping) and she absolutely LOVES it, which is why I like to send it. She hasn't asked me not to send it. I'm thinking maybe that's why she doesn't offer the Kashi fruit bars too-they're messy.

I'm mostly venting. I will be changing daycares in a couple weeks, so I'm not going to make a big deal out of things. Are any of you daycare mama's out there not too keen on giving yogurt or messy things to the babies you take care of? I'm afraid if I didn't supply healthy things that I would be a little scared of what she would offer my daughter to eat. Cheerios, veggie chips & water all seem to be good in their own way. Maybe I am over-reacting? Let me know what you think. Maybe I am a horribly over-protective mom!

Our DCP feeds the kids whatever the parents send in, if requested.
