I wonder if anyone has any experince with a handheld, slightly larger than pen-sized scanning device called the Readingpen? It's used to scan unfamiliar words while reading and provide auditory pronunciation of the word. It's thought to be helpful for students with reading difficulties/disabilities allowing more independent reading. We're test driving one tonight, but it's $$$ to buy, so I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience to share?
