Yes. I had her at Magee and everyone was great. I used Patrick Thornton, CNM. He os a solo practitioner midwife (office in Squirrel Hill).
The nurses were very supportive even though they were very surprised that I had a natural birth because they say most people who come in saying they want a natural birth, don't make it. But they didn't say that to me until after the birth. No one pushed formula, either. They keep track of feedings/out put but weren't obsessed with measuring.
Are you going to Magee also? I've heard the Birth Center is great, but they were already full for March when I called so I went with Patrick and it was a wonderful experience.
