Introducing myself

Hi.

I'm new to this board. My name is Francesca, mom to Valerio who is 20 months old. I'm Italian, my DH is an American born Chinese, and we are currently living in the UK. In 10 days we are moving to lake Como, so I was wondering anybody lives around there.

Welcome!! We live in a small town outside of Ancona. I was raised in the USA and have multicultural origins too! My father has Chinese origins and my mother European. Many people think I'm either Chinese or Philipino.
Your son Valerio must be a cutie!

Unfortunately we are far from Lago di Como but if you are interested in meeting other mamas, I suggest going to your local La Leche meetings. I met a lot of moms this way and have formed great friendships.

Are you from that area Francesca? I've never been there but would love to one day.
