Mathilda Jane was born at 10:18 pm last night, 8 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches. She is nursing well and quite the little chub.
It was exciting for me because I actually went into labor (I was induced with all the other ones). I didn't even know I was in labor, just went in for my 38 week check up and they checked me, I was 4-5 cm. The doctor said that if I started contracting, I should go to the hospital. I said that I was contracting every 3 minutes or so, but had been for days and they weren't painful. He sent me to the hospital. Within a couple hours I was 6cm and then 8cm and then she was born.
Funny thing (although not funny in the midst of it) is that even though she was our 4th, her labor was longer than all the others COMBINED...and they had told me I would go faster if I went naturally vs. being induced...guess not!!

I've been overdue all 4 times and had to be induced twice so I can sorta relate. Congrats on your baby!!!
