Thank you to everyone! I haven't been on here since last week. Already so many babies!

Yes, I'm already using CD's!!! Since we got home yesterday. It's my first time cding a nb, it's going really well so far.

Wanted to update things a little bit. I had to have a scheduled c/s. I fretted and fretted over this decision (I won't go into my long history), but finally accepted it, even though deep down inside it wasn't how I wanted my little girl to come into the world. Anyway, everything went really well. It was really smooth and as good an experience as you could expect with a fabulous staff and fabulous doctors and nurses. I was well taken care of. So, they take out my little girl, and the doctor tells my husband to look over the sheet. She told us Claire was one lucky girl as there was a tight knot in the umbilical cord . My DH saw it and said it was unbelievable. It was a miracle that she wasn't harmed by it. My doctor said it could have been life threatening to her had I attempted a VBAC and likely would have ended up with a c/s anyway. Thanks to God for the way things played out and I'm just sooooo thankful to have a beautiful, healthy little girl.

I just wanted to share a bit of my story. Proves that as unpleasant as c/sections can be, it can safely bring a child into this world when otherwise, who knows? Claire is my little miracle!!!

Can't wait to continue reading all these birth announcements all month long! Yea for March babies!

Congrats. Ds3 had a knot in his cord too. Guess these little ones were doing lots of summersaults.

Did they show you the knot? Ds's looked like this:http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b4...PICT0010-2.jpg

Oh my goodness! I didn't even know that could happen. So glad your sweet baby came into this world safely!

Congrats on your little girl.

Just an FYI, I just attended a UBAC of a friend that had a tight knot in her cord. Momma and baby were fine, and she had a perfect birth.

Here is a pic..
