This isn't Easter-ish, but for Valentine's Day I crocheted DD some little slippers with a heart on top, and then I made an identical pair for her baby doll to put in her Easter basket.

felt finger puppets (I started with a bunny and chick, but Ive made a zillion others)

Im sewing the easter basket once I figure out how!

bath fizzys

bean bags

I sewed a bunny, Levi already found it tho and carries him around yelling 'bun bun' ...lol

I dont know what else yet - Im figuring out things for ds.

Already made:

-colored pencil roll-up
-two felt bunnies and sleeping pouches (one is a zombie bunny and the other his victim LOL)

Need to finish:

-Easter dress and matching skirt for stuffed kitty
-pillow for stuffed kitty in Easter fabric

Need to start:

-Easter basket (taking a class at a local sewing lounge for this)

I feel like I need to make one more thing for the basket. Not sure what else...

Use plaster of paris + tempra paint. Put some in each half of a plastic easter egg (rub the inside of it with vaselene first). Wait a few min and then flip one half of the egg onto the other, they will stick together. Let it dry overnight and pop them out - you end up with egg shape chalk.

I'm thinking of doing crayon roll for DD1. I almost have a dress completed that I'm going to use for Easter although it wasn't made for Easter.

Hmmm....crayon roll. I have been thinking of making those but hadn't gotten around to it. My boys are older, and I think I'd like to make them little books instead. Like you slip the pencils in slips on one side, and the other side holds a notepad. Thanks for making me remember that idea!

I also want to make some more fabric/wool eggs to stuff for Easter morning to hide around the house instead of using plastic eggs.

I want to paint wooden eggs because DD will just crush real eggshells from blown eggs. I have searched everywhere, including caseyswood, and I can only find solid wood eggs. I wanted to hide stuff in them, like you do with the plastic ones.

tinasquirrel, do you have a link to a tutorial on the notepad idea? That might be another good thing I can make to put in the Easter basket...

Here's a link to the tutorial for the cloth journal/pencil holder.
