'Baby blues'?

Anyone else feeling really down? Not that I don't have a pretty major reason to be depressed, but I was doing ok. I've been all weepy the last couple days, though. Guess it could partially be tiredness.

Got my placenta dehydrated..not that there was much, ds3 had a much smaller placenta than ds2. Just need to powder it, put it in the capsules & start taking them. Hopefully there's enough to make a difference.

I hope you get feeling better. Can someone help you do all that encapsulating? It might be good to have a friend around to talk with and for the help of course. I was wondering how your situation has been with your dh and all...is that the main factor contributing to the weepiness, you think? Not that you even need a reason at this time...

I hope so much that you get feeling better emotionally...this is such a hard time for anyone, but when you got yucky stuff going on anyway, jeez, its really hard not to get down - and quick.

Now would be a great time to call in anyone who might be able to help you out- friends, neighbors, anyone. For me, it helps a lot both to have the help with household stuff and meals, but also to have people around.

Sending some love to you.

Yeah, that lack of sleep can really contribute, too. I hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe the older kids can go for a day out with H and you can try to sleep when the babe does?
I am curious how the encapsulated placenta works, and am looking forward to hearing how it works for you!
Take care of yourself,

The only thing I have had issues with is not being pregnant, and also about not being sure that I am done having babies! I didn't keep my placenta.....

Sorry you're feeling down. *big hugs* I've been sorry to see my post-birth bliss disappear, replaced by irritability and some moodiness. I miss the happy happy! Don't know how you feel about herbal remedies, but I'm a big fan of them; just ordered this Baby Blues formula yesterday: http://www.wishgardenherbs.com/pop.p...a0dd&pro_id=74

Best wishes for happier days...

I feel so sad. My mom has been here visiting (my family all lives hundreds of miles away) and she is leaving tomorrow and I can't stop crying about it. I also feel like a bad mom because the baby cries so much and I can't console him well.

Sorry to hear that . . . I remember it did take a while to figure out how to console my first son. My friend had a baby at the same time, and they were Sooo different. Her LO slept better down on a bed, and mine only slept well on me, her LO wanted quiet, mine wanted movement and didn't mind steady noise. It is a journey to get to know them, and there will be times where things aren't working well. You will get it, though!
I hope you have some more support and help for after your mom goes-- this is the time to take people up on their offers to make food, and everyone likes to hold the baby while you're in the shower.
It is really hard to feel sad on top of being sleep-deprived, and the hormone craziness. Give yourself tons of slack, and be gentle in your expectations.
