Best non-dairy probiotic for baby with thrush?

I'm having a heck of a time finding any non-dairy infant probiotics. We're dealing with thrush again, and I'm really trying to avoid a third round of Nystatin!

TIA!

Have you guys used gentian violet at all? That's what we always use. For probiotics, we were reccomended to get Klare Labs? I think that's how it's spelled, maybe Klair? Kirkman labs is also good. Those are super free of it all. We've always done well w/ Solar Ray products too as far as free of allergens.

Yeah, I have some and will start using it if GSE doesn't work in the next few days.
You have to have an Authorization code from a health care provider to be able to register and order from Klaire labs.

I did find this post listing different dairy-free probiotics, and think I'm going to suck it up and buy the GI ProHealth stuff. So expensive!

I didn't know that about the Klaire stuff. My bfing dr I see has it at her clinic so I would just buy it there if we got it. I really should get some...we're just coming out of thrush and I hate for it to come back! We fought it on and off for a long time w/ my oldest and it was awful. I hope it gets better soon for you.

I found a company called Natren when I was looking for vegan probiotics.

ETA: I reread and saw you're looking for infant probiotics. Natren only has an infant product cultured in dairy.

ETAA: BioCare claims to have dairy-free bifidobacterium infantis. I'll try emailing them. I'm also interested in this.

And by the way, caprylic acid was recommended to me to combat yeast. You could try supplementing with virgin coconut oil. This will even increase the caprylic acid contant of your milk which is good for baby.

Don't like the concentrate in it.

Waiting for a reply from BioCare.

BioCare responded.

Thank you for your message, all of our probiotics are dairy free, we do not use a dairy culture to produce them so this would be suitable for your baby.

I hope this is helpful
