Baking Soda as Toothpaste

Who uses this method? I just tried it and it left my mouth feeling super clean. I also like the simplicity and non-toxicity of it. The only concern I have is that it's a mild abrasive; will using it regularly wear down my enamel more than normal toothpaste? Experiences?

I find that if I use it more than about twice a month my teeth are super sensitive. I guess it just is too harsh for me. I do much better with soap and the occasional BS scrub.

Yeah actually after a couple days of BS I noticed really sore gums... guess it's the abrasive thing. But I'm curious, soap? What kind of soap? I've never heard of this...

You can buy tooth soap (www.toothsoap.com), or you can just use any soap that doesn't have a glycerin base.
