Tips for Polar Bummis Dipe Cover

I just purchased a Polar Bummis diaper cover for DD. So far, we are loving the soft, cozy feel and nighttime effectiveness.

Are there any special tips for caring for this cover? What is the best way to keep it fresh? We have only ever used PUL covers (which are super easy to care for!).

I loved fleece covers for nighttime.

What I found out about caring for fleece was - wash in warm water (or whatever really) USE A POWDERED DETERGENT (liquids can ruin the fleece's water repellency), no fabric softeners.
IF you ever have problems with stuff leaking right through the fleece cover, I've read of people using small amounts of liquid fabric softener when washing fleece covers to help restore their absorbency though.
