Gender guess?

I'm gonna predict that I'm having a boy. Since I already have a girl, maybe it's more probable that I'll have a boy this time. Plus, I got preggo in Feb, and according to the Chinese gender chart, it should be a boy. And I just feel different- not deathly ill, well, not yet atleast.

Wanna take a guess at what you're having?

I waiver between the two. Right now I'm thinking definetly another girl. Ask me tomorrow though and I might say, definetly a boy. But I probably am getting more girl days then boy days.

wager a guess

Well between us in the online community I am going to guess a boy. It seems too early to get a good feeling either way, and this is my first so I have nothing else to compare it to. Just a feeling. What is the deal with being less sick with a boy?

Not a clue. My first two pregnancies were pretty different, and they were both the same sex. So this third pregnancy being different wouldn't have me thinking it must be a different sex.

I've never heard that, but I'd be happy with either gender if I didn't have to suffer from HG!

DH and I both think boy The Chinese gender calendar has "confirmed" this feeling, but I am not buying any gender specific items yet!

In one of the other DDCs, someone brought up Intelligender testing. Looks interesting...they say the urine test is 82% accurate in home testing as early as 10 weeks!

Wow! I wonder how it predicts- hormones? What if you just have more testosterone than usual?

My DH works in a molecular biochem lab and you can do a blood analysis to determine sex in the first trimester...I think it's based on the fact that if you are carrying a male, your female body would produce antibodies to the testosterone...but I might be completely off. I do know he had fun doing the test when his boss was pregnant and he was right!

However, I don't see how you could do this with a urine test, since antibodies wouldn't be in urine, right? (Oh god this is embarassing how much of biochem I've forgetten, considering I have a B.Sc. in biochem!!!!)

We'll be going the surprise route again this time around. About half of my pg with DD I was convinced it was a boy, then had an abrupt change of mind and knew she was a girl.

This time around I am definitely feeling boy for some reason though!! The fun thing about the second baby is that it is perfect either way - DD gets a same-sex sibling, or we get to have 1 of each!

Anyone try this method? http://www.babygenderprediction.com/...rediction.html

We didn't find out the sex of either DD or DS, but both times I was *SO* sure what they were I would have bet my life on it. No feelings this time around yet.

I am guessing boy. I think I would be shocked to have another GIRL, lol. I have 2 of each right now!

DH says girl and he is always right. My initial feeling was boy, but I'm always wrong, and I really have no idea

I totally agree with you here!

I am thinking girl for me. And that's what the Chinese gender prediction chart says for me, too. :

I'm guessing girl...but I was also convinced that DS was a girl.

The chinese gender chart predicts girl, but it also predicts that DS would have been a girl...

I'm guessing we'll have a girl and a boy. But if there is only one baby in there then I think it will be a girl.

I hate to be predective, but this pregnancy is absolutely different with my first Child.............on the chinese chart says that is a girl, there is another of the 38 fun ways to know if is a girl or a boy, and shows directly to a girl. People around me says that is a girl.

For me a complete surprise up to the birth day......lol

I knew with both of my kids--just had this intuition that they were both girls and I was right.

I'm already thinking boy for this one. I am thinking that I'll know once the morning sickness starts--I was really sick with my girls so maybe it will be a boy and I won't be as sick this time. I know that isn't a scientific fact--but a girl can hope! I puked every. single. day. with my 2nd!

Wait, I thought it was that you're less sick with a girl?--something about the hormones being the same? Or maybe I'm misremembering--anyone know?

I think I'm having a girl, but that may only be because I've always seen myself as a mother to girls (and no boys).

Oh, geez - I will say girl. Only because we don't have a girl name settled on, and last time we didn't have a boy name settled on. That's the way my luck is. Oh, but now that I predict that, my luck will certainly have me be wrong! lol I have no realy "gut" feeling, obviously. And this time around, I can honestly say that I won't be disappointed or freaked out to hear either way.
