Play area at mall

Guess what I saw today? Two mamas at the play area at the mall nursing their babies!! They were not even together! Two separate mamas lovingly nursing their dear sweet babies. I told them how lovely they were and that they made me so happy to see them there. :::

I've often wanted to tell moms nursing their little ones how happy I am that they are nursing their little ones in public, but often my kids are in school, so I don't know how weird it would sound (except now, being 8 months pregnant...)

That was a wonderful thing you did!! The one time someone marched up to me and I was was fully expecting a snide remark -- I got words of encouragment, and I can't tell you how much it made my day and gave me strength amidst of much criticism. Now, I make it a point of saying something to a mom NIP. The rare mom that does it around here needs to hear something nice, because it is not well acceped here. Maybe others reading this will start to do the same thing, and I bet it would make a great impact. Yay for lactivism!

Thats so funny. I was nursing dd2 at the mall play area on Friday. I was the only one nursing though or I would ask where you are.

Ocean County Mall in Toms River, NJ. I also am usually the only one nursing in the mall play area. I could not believe there were two other nursing mamas there.

Yay! I haven't said anything to anyone either b/c I'm really introverted and shy. But I did get a very nice comment last week at the mall. I was nursing Chloe in the wonderful and comfy sofas in the middle of the mall (it's the really ritzy one in town), and this sweet old lady told me how glad I would be later that I had nursed her. It was nice to get encouragement out in public!

Yay - as a shy mama also I saw this pair of women nursing in the food court of the Zoo . one baby was itty bitty one was a few months old and I was staring trying to think if I should say something nice but since I couldnt I smiled and gave them a lol
