what's your 2nd ppaf story?

(nak) hey all, just wondering what the range of experience is on this...

my 1st ppaf was when ds was 9mo exactly. he is nearly11mo now and no #2. 1st was normal duration and amount, but browner blood. my cycle is never regular anyway, but usually only 30-45 days between. i really doubt i am preg again...been using the diaphram and don't feel it (i knew with ds). so are things even more irregular for a while? btw, ds nursed excl. til 10 mo and still eats very few solids, usually nuses every 4 hrs or more day n night. when i got 1st af we were on a road trip tho, and nursings spaced out a bit more than normal as he slept in his carseat. could i have re-upped the hormones suppressing ovul. by nursing more frequently again? my mom returned to fert. only after weaning totally my sister and i (15 and 11 mo) and was surprised by my 'early' ppaf.

I got my 1st ppaf when ds was 22 mo.My second one was 40 days later which is totally out of character for me.I am usually a firm 28 dayer.1st af was 8 days long and very heavy and 2nd was only 5 and heavy too.I am normally 3 days.

It seems that it might just take a bit to get regular again.I am also still nursing and I was wondering the same thing too when af didn't show up.I'm waiting for visit #3 now due on NYE so we shall see.Of course that's based on a 28 day cycle.

well, wouldn't you know it...af arrived on the 26th...i must have known it was coming to worry about it. i have since read that the first few cycles do tend to be irregular and often, if intro of solids is gradual, anovulatory. wish i had gone 22 months!!
