I finally nursed in public!

I nursed DD today in a crowded restaurant and it made me feel like a superwoman!

So far I've only nursed in my car when we're out and about, and once in a dark corner of a museum but it was totally empty. But today DS, DD and I went out to lunch. As soon as my food came DD woke up of course, and I could tell she was hungry. My first response was oh no, where can I nurse? But I knew I'd have to pack everyone up, and I knew the longer I waited the more upset she'd get. So a voice in me said "Do it! Do it! Do it!". So I did! Ok, I was in the corner and had a Moby wrap on so no one could see anything, but still it was a crowded restaurant (strangers less than 4 feet away) and I nursed her right there! Yay! I felt so proud, it made my day.

Yea!!!! I found that the first few times nursing in public was the hardest. It just keeps getting easier.

Congrats! My first time was also in the Moby!! I did it in a coffee shop with some other moms from the neighborhood... it was a good environment for my first time

Yay! YOu know its funny I nursed J. everywhere, and thought of myself as a NIP pro, but D. nurses differently and I find myself struggling a bit to NIP without completely disrobing, who knew it would be a learning curve even with the second

I nursed DS on the beach this weekend. We took a family trip to the ocean for the first time, and I got to sit on the sand by the water nursing him while watching DS1 get his feet wet in the ocean for the very first time. It was so awesome.

I was wearing the Moby, but haven't figured out nursing in it yet. I need to do that!
