I'm not really sure where to put this, so I thought I'd try here since it is an activism type thing. Our city ordinances are written so that you can't have backyard chickens in the city. I've tried contacting our city council as have a couple of other people to try and get them to take it up, but haven't really gotten much response.
Which got me wondering...has anyone gotten a city ordinance changed before? What process did you use/steps did you take? I've found other people who would gladly help out, but they're looking to me for guidance and I'm not quite sure what the most effective way is.
