Yeah, this is hard! Has anyone else undertaken it? Wanna show me your finished projects? I have all the pieces cut and basting done and I'm halfway through the smallest ring. : wipes sweat :

Well, back to work! I'll show pictures if I ever finish!

Here's a link to my blog entry with the pictures: Stacker

No one has attempted it? I got the first ring done and it was HARD but I feel the next one will be MUCH easier and nicer looking. The tiny one isn't bad but I MIGHT re-do it at the end to make it nicer if the others look better

Looks like a cute project!

I bought that pattern to make a bunch of stackers for the baby boom we have had amongst our friends and family.

I do NOT want to hear how hard it is!!!!

I just picked up fabric to make the first one.

What exactly is so difficult? Is it because its fiddly? I'll take any advice I can get.

oh man! I have the pattern and have everything cut out, but haven't started on putting it together yet...it is on my to do list, though...I too was hoping to make them for a bunch of shower gifts. Why was it hard? Any tips to help out??

The instructions are VERY weirdly written and there are a lot of pattern pieces. Also, three words: Sew-In Interfacing. Oy vey!

I'm doing alright on it. I was sick and didn't work on it for nearly a week but I got a lot done tonight. Pictures soo.

My friend made some. You can see pics here:

She said they were HARD and frustrating the first time she made them.

I'm so glad to see a picture of this in some size context! I have been looking at photos of the stackers and wondering why someone would want an enormous pile of stacking cushions in their house

I am FINISHED! ::: Just in time to put it in the easter basket! Oh I'm so relieved. I had been neglecting this project for too long and finally got my act together last night to start finishing it up. Stuffing was a pain and had to be re-done about 3 times for each ring. Anyway, I posted pictures on my blog, tell me what you think!!

Thank you! It isn't necessarily "hard" per se but it is so time consuming! I'm glad the baby likes it

That is awesome! I am very jealous of all you crafty moms. Now I must learn to sew, I want one for my DD.

I've got the pattern, but haven't started...hopefully I can benefit from other people's tips!! Let me know if there is any thing else to make it more easy to understand

i'm impressed - I've heard enough about this pattern that I was intimidated. Maybe I'll give it a try after all.
