Phoebe Mitchell Owens arrived March 3, 2009 at 7:27 am. 6lbs and 5 oz.
I thought she would be a boy! surprise! Phoebe is still in the hospital due to seizure activity (none in 72 hours) from a possible infection (my white blood cell count was 31,000). She is strong and feeding exclusively on the breast as of yesterday. No yucky formula. So far all major tests are coming back clear... we are cautiously optimistic. My DH was my rock and hypnobabies kept me totally out of the fear/tension/pain cycle despite some complications at the end. Thankfully no C section!
: She is just the cutest.
