Is the mind really this powerful AKA WITW!?

Ladies! For the love of my sanity I need some wisdom...

Here's the deal:

DH and I used no method this past month other than dtd when we wanted. I *think* I O'ed around day 18 of my cycle. I have been on Vitex for 3 months and have had 2 periods so far as a result. I am now on CD 31 but I can have longish cycles. My last one was 37 days. On CD 28 I woke up and within 5 minutes was dry heaving. It seemed odd but I have a sensitive tummy so didn't thinky much of it. And then it happened the next day. And the next. And the next. My breasts are sore and have been since CD 23. I had sticky CM on CD 21 and 22 but have had wet CM (on my panties!) for the past 2 days. I have had 3 negative HPT including this AM with FMU.

What in the world is going on!?

Am I correct that the only way the morning nausea is related to pregnancy is if there has been implantation and that if there had been implantation there would be + HPT? My Mom in 1980 had 16 - HPT and therefore didn't know she was pregnant until month 5 with my brother (when the doctor said, "I've got a heartbeat." Mom said, "Of course you do." Doc said, "No, of the baby." Mom said, "OF THE BABY?!" ). I'm assuming HPTs are better now and that this type of heredity isn't germaine.

Is the vitex causing the nausea and tenderness? I know that the power of suggestion is powerful...but honestly, I was busy kissing DH this AM when I had to run to the bathroom to heave so it isn't like I was fixated on, "Am I pregnant?" at that moment.

So...thanks for any responses, I know posts like this are written many times a week. I appreciate the help...

Hm...no one knows if Vitex could cause the nausea? I had it again this AM. Plus had to get up 2 times in the night to pee. That NEVER happens. Still no flo. What in the world?!

Anyone, anyone?

If you are 10 dpo you can get a blood pg test done. Some of the hpts won't pick up the hcg until 14 dpo.

Vitex shouldnt make you nauseaus. Since your longest cycle was 37 days then you should use it as a measure of if you are late or not.

Are you charting?

Not sure about the vitex-nausea connection, but there are people who just don't turn pg tests +. It sounds like your mom was like this with your brother. Maybe it runs in families? Can you go have a blood test done?

I am charting but didn't start until I started having the weird morning nausea and the extreme breast tenderness. I appreciate the responses! Since I'm not as late as I have ever been (good point!) I'm going to wait until Monday and hopefully my period will come by then. If not I'll go get a blood test. Do places still do those? Last I had heard most doctors have switched to poas tests. Do I just ask for a blood test instead?

Thanks for the help!

I don't know about the Vitex. But when my sister was preg with my nephew, she was nauseous for 10 days before she got a positive test. And she was testing daily the last few days.

If you ask for a blood test they might do one for you but most places insist on a urine test before they will do a blood test unless you have special circumstances.

Well, my temp dropped to 97.18 this morning so I'm confident??? I'm not pregnant. I'm still wondering what in the world is going on. So far, no flo...

Thanks for the wisdom!
