Also, I was living in Berkeley when I read the book, which was very fun!!
That is awesome! The book that did all of that for me was Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. Oh I'm so so so glad I found that book!

Another one who loved it. This is the book that really pushed me to have a homebirth with my second.
