My teenager has gotten on my last nerve.
She is SO lazy.
I know this is the age.. but, I don't care. I'm tired of her "woe is me" attitude.
She has had this assignment since LAST Monday. It's due tomorrow. She wanted to go to church tonight, and I said "sure!" I should have known by the tone in which she asked me that she expected me to say "no". But, I didn't question her.
SHe came home at 7:00 p.m, watched the rest of the movie "Austrailia" and THEN started to complain about this project. So... 7:45-ish, she still hasn't started the project.
As of tonight.. if I had the money. I'd enroll her in an all girl's boarding school in the North Woods of Wisconsin. Or someplace where they are snowed in for six months out of the year. Then she'd have nothing better to do than get her work done.
Obviously, this isn't the only thing she's lazy about.. this is just the only thing I'm irritated about right now.
She asked me to let her stay home from school tomorrow because she's "SOO tired". I asked her if her other friends are also staying home.. "no, they must have had help". (or, they started on it last week)
If her boyfriend called and asked her to go hang out at the park, she'd have loads of energy for that.
Anybody want an extra teen for two years?
