In the movie Mulan the Imperial Army is battling the invading Huns. In the preview for Mulan II, the emperor says something to the effect of "Mongol forces have invaded China". Does that make any sense historically? I thought the Huns came hundreds of years before the Mongols but in these movies both are attacking China in one person's lifespan. Anyway, my DS, who is fascinated with this kind of stuff, was asking questions about who the Mongols were, particularly in relation to the Huns so I thought I'd see if anyone can help us! I'm often amazed by the knowledge to be found in posts on mdc!
