No matter how well I sleep, how hydrated I am, how well I eat, etc - I still have dark circles under my eyes. It's genetic, I'm sure. But dang - people are always telling me how tired I look and I'm NOT. So, I do use the mineral concealer (yellow) to cover them up, but it doesn't work completely, so I'm curious if y'all have a better answer? Some magic cream that makes it go away? Anything? Help!

Addressing any potential causes is useful. Allergies are a huge one. Dehydration and sleep, of course, can contribute. Thyroid, maybe? I really can't remember.
I've pretty much given up on mine. When I was a bit younger and had no children (read: possessed an abudance of free time), I typically just gothed it up.
I used to kvetch about them. And then I realized that DS has them, too, no matter how he's feeling or sleeping. I guess it's just a family legacy. And yeah, I do hate looking tired and haggard all the time. Maybe I need to bring back the raccoon eyes and giant hair falls.

i have heard these can be caused by food allergies.
here is a good way to discover food sensitivities. hard to do w/ kids, but i think using a heart rate monitor would make it much easier.
