Moon phase predictions?

For those just waiting...

In theory, you cycle with a moon phase and gestate with a moon timing, so you could birth with the same moon phase.:

I checked out the moon phases for my two DS birthdays and both were just 2 or 3 days after the last quarter. Based on that, this baby is gonna pop out on March 20. (DD March 21)

All four of my babies were born between 1 and 3 days after the first quarter, so this was true for me.

My son was born on a full moon, I was born on a full moon, and my daughter was born .8 days after the first quarter.

If I birthed the same as my uninduced labor, I would have to birth almost 3 weeks late!!! YIKES.

Ooh, I have too much time on my hands and this sounds like fun!

This is my first, so I can't do it based on previous births. How do I do it based on periods? Do you think I'd put in the first day of my last period? The last day? Ovulation? Conception?

(I think what I really mean is "tell me what I should put in so the magic moon calculator tells me my baby will be born tomorrow!" I'm soooo ready!)

Hmmm, my first two were born within 2 days of the full moon. My 2 y.o. was born just before the first quarter. So I could be either 2 weeks early or a week late. I'm thinking late, since all 3 of my kids were late. Super cool tool, thanks for the link.

Popping in from the November ddc because this looked interesting. The moons when ds was conceived and born were almost exact opposites, and compared to his due date, were not at all similar. For this babe, conception and due date moons are almost identical. It'll be interesting to see what happens...

I conceived 2.4 days before the Full moon, and was about 3-4 days before the Full moon. No baby yet.

Lol, I'm with you! If I were to have this bean at the same time as my ds I would be having him tonight - fingers crossed that is true!!!

according to this, this baby should come around March 18, which could certainly happen... Technically not due until late March/early April - but we've been expecting an "early" arrival based on "pre-labor" activity, and my son's "early" arrival...
