I just listed our 95 Honda Accord on Craigslist and have received over 19 responses in 30 minutes. Everyone wants me to call them back. I realize that 50% are probably scams.
What's the best way to deal with this kind of sale? The Kelly blue book price was $2200. We have it listed for $1000 b/c it needs $1200 in immediate repairs. It would be perfect for someone who knows how to repair cars.
My DH is not home until 7pm. Obviously I wouldn't let anyone over to see the car without his being there.
When they test drive the car, should I ask for their keys or wallet? I don't want them to drive away in our car. I also don't want DH to be in the car with a stranger.
Any tips?
