Hi there,

have to admit that I haven't noticed a change in libido just hoping that it's a symptom that kicks in later!: lol!

I'm going to order some and start maca my next cycle (that is unless we happen to catch the egg this month). I'm on CD 18 right now and waiting to O. I'm also taking fertilaid. Is anyone using both?

not using both but the PF maca works better for the libido I tested it and will continue with that brand

Does anyone think that 1 tbsp of maca is too little? Too much?
I'm not sure about the dosage, but I don't know if I can choke more than that down a day.

Easy, and way cheaper than buying the capsules pre-filled - and you don't have to worry about hiding the taste. I got vegetarian 00 capsules at my local health food store.
That's not a bad idea. I'm having trouble choking down the maca. Approximately how much is filled in 1 capsule?

WilliamsMama, the "00" capsule size holds 570 to 1140mg depending on the density of the material and compression - so I'm guessing there's around 1000mg of maca in each one. I packed the maca in there pretty tight. I'm taking 4 a day just in case there's somewhat less than that in them.

Hi ladies

It's CD19 now for me and the ol' maca is getting into my system! I know it sounds a bit tmi but I can smell it everywhere I go even when I go to the bathroom! Not sure if anyone else has this??

Had a little bit more CM than normal too and am feeling good. The other day I didn't have maca in the morning and I was feeling a bit low. Had some afterwards and felt much better. I also have been less tired than normal in the evenings.

Love the maca, banana smoothies I make but would like to try some new recipes, if anyone knows of any?

Anyways, off now to do some yoga and then to enjoy the

Hi Ladies,

I am NOT currently taking maca, but have recently suffered 2 miscarriages in a row and am wondering what this herb does to help your cycles? I can get pregnant easily, but having issues maintaining my pregnancies unfortunately. Right now we are waiting to TTC, but I am doing everything I can to get my body into tip top shape for when we do! I am eating better (no sugar/whole grains only) and have eliminated caffiene... have lost 11lbs and just really trying to make sure my body is healthy.

Thanks in advance!!

Hello,

just wondered if anyone else was having the same experience? Since taking maca, don't know if it's my imagination but I have been having very vivid dreams. I can't really say I remember them that well but I know that my sleep has also been much deeper.

Anyway-New recipeobviously doesn't have to be organic)

4 Organic brazil nuts
6 Organic almonds
1 x Table spoon organic mixed seeds( sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and linseeds)
1 x Handful of organic Sultanas
1 x Organic banana
Glass of organic soya milk

First blend together nuts and seeds to preference of texture then add banana and soya milk and sultanas and blend again and
.

Believe me, it's very good!

Pixie-- not sure if you are interested but Soy milk might be counterproductive to Maca bc of its estrogen like qualities... you might want to research it more
