Options for nursary/ school?

Hi, i'm not sure quite where to post this, but could do with some advice.

I just learnt that there is a Steiner nursary opened near me, and i can get my dd into it when she's 3 (shes only 2 now) and we'll get the free childcare vouchers from the government that we can use for it too. So that's not a problem, and i really want her to go there.

However, there is NO WAY we can afford for her to go onto a Steiner school later, and would have to send her to a mainstream school. They do bursaries, but they don't do full ones yet (though they might by the time she's school age).

What would you do? Is it fair to put her in a Steiner nursary, only to have that life torn away from her when she reaches a certian age? Or should i just forget the whole idea and accept that this is a life she'll never know?

I don't know what to do for the best. Especially as the only good mainstream schools round here are catholic ones, so i'd have to work to get her into one of those (dh & his family are catholic, so that doesn't matter too much).

Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

I think the early years are very important learning years. I would put her into the school that fit that philosophy best. Give her the best foundation of experiences you can, right? That will give her more to draw from in a traditional setting.
