Do I have to vaccinate to attend day care in Arizona

My son is 16 months old and I have him vaccinated for PC, HIB and partial DTaP. Can I have him attend day care without the others? Also having another one in July and considering daycare once in a while but do not want to vaccinate right away. Is this a bad idea to have an unvaccinated child/infant in daycare at all...even if it's only a few hours a day one or two days a week?

You are lucky...Arizona has a philisophical exemption. You can send your child to daycare even though he has not been fully vaccinated. My son is 10 months old and in daycare 5 days a week and is completely unvaccinated. It is fine!

Check out your state laws here:

I was wondering the same thing in case I ever had to use day care. I don't see any specific language in my state about exemptions in regards to daycare. It only mentions public and private schools.
