Affiliate Software

I'm considering adding affiliate software to my website so other websites, blog owners, etc. can benefit financially from referring people to us.

Any recommendations for software? I need it to work but I'd like to avoid spending a lot up front--at least until I know for sure this is going to be a good move for us. If it matters, I'm running Zen Cart.

From what I can find so far, 10-15% commission is common. Does this sound right? Any other tips would also be appreciated!

Update: I ended up getting Post Affiliate Pro starter version. I can have up to 50 affiliates and I can upgrade to the full version for no penalty (just price difference). They claim the only difference is that the full version can have unlimited affiliates. It was only $49 so I figure if it looks like it works and people are signing up, I'll upgrade. We worked on it last night and are hoping to have it up this weekend.

Then I just need to recruit bloggers and websites. If anyone has any tips...I'm all ears!
