Up until now I had yet to have a PPAF. I'm concerned about possibly being pregnant, please someone tell me I'm being irrational...
Thurs. Feb. 26 I had bad pains on my left lower abdomen, not regular cramps but more of a knife stabbing pains. DH & I DTD that night. Next day I continued to have the pains to the point of having to sit down at times. 2 days after the pains started (and 1 passed DTD) I passed the largest clumps of EWCM I have ever had in my life (like egg sized, sorry TMI). This happened 3 times in the next day and a half. Then all the pain stopped and so did the EWCM. At the time I didn't think anything of the pains because I have never had O pain but looking back at it the pain in connection with the EWCM makes me think I might have ovulated for the first time since my ds was born.
Fast forward to what would roughly be 8 dpo if that was ovulation and I started having some light brown spotting. I assumed that I did O, had a short LP and this was going to be my first PP AF. Well the spotting never got any heavier. It stayed almost all brown with just a bit of red blood. This lasted for a day and a half. The flow never got more that when I wiped except for maybe a 2 hour stretch where it got on a pad but it was by no means a heavy or even medium flow. The spotting has completely stopped since yesterday, nothing not even when I check internally.
So here is the part that I need assistance on. What are the chances that I had O pains for the first time, then happen to catch the first egg, and had implantation bleeding for the first time? I've been pregnant 3 times before and never experience O pain or implantation bleeding. Is there any need for me to worry about being pregnant? Or do I just chalk it up to a weird first cycle? Please share advice / opinions!!
