Kiddo allergic to essential oils????!!!!

Last night was the 2nd time my 3.5 y.o ds2 got an eczema rash from the California Baby bubble bath. I rinse him really well before getting him out and I don't see anything on the label that I can pinpoint as the cause of the rash. No fragrances, artificial colors, etc.

Could he be allergic to one of the essential oils? Or one of the other ingredients?

Here are the ingredients in order (does not list them on the website):

purified water, decyl polyglucose, soapbark, yucca, calendula, aloe vera, rosewater, cactus, acacia, irish moss, vitamin e, phospholipid (emollient, coconut source), our proprietary essential oil blend, polyaminopropyl biguanide

It doesn't list what the essential oils are but is there anything else in the ingredients list that could be causing this?

It could be anything. I'd react to the aloe and the essential oils.

Plenty of people have reactions to essential oils. Most people tend to think of them as 100% safe because they are natural, but in fact they are very concentrated plant extracts and people can have reactions to them. Some of them can be downright harmful if used incorrectly. The ones in CA Baby are pretty mild, I believe, and they are quite dilute, but that is not always enough. Have you tried their unscented products to see if the reaction goes away? That might be the next step. Or it could be something else in the ingredient list, its hard to say.

Thanks guys, I guess I need to try a few different brands/products to find something that he doesn't break out with.
