Due Date help!

Maybe someone here can help me more... I'm not sure about what my estimated due date would be.

My LMP was Feb 1. But I think this month I had a long cycle, b/c I had what seemed like implantation spotting on 3/1, took a test 3/3 and 3/4 and they were negative. Finally got a BFP last night (3/10)! When I put my LMP in a due date calculator, it comes up with due date of 11/08. But I think it should be a little later than that, because I should have gotten a positive result on 3/1 then (when my period was due), right? And from what I have heard, you can't get a BFP until after implantation, right? Anyway, wondering what you would put my due date at...I know it's just a date, but it's the date I'll be throwing out to everyone who asks... I suppose it would have helped if I knew the ovulation date or something like that but I'm not sure, I just think it was later than usual in this cycle, around or after the 18th (we went on vacation from 14th to 18th and I remember having lots of CM after coming home for the next couple days).

I'd say go with the latest date that is possible for O date, and calculate from there (google ovulation due date calculator for calculator). That way, they won't say you're "overdue" or post dates and try to force an induction or c-section too early.

if your CM is usually predictably close to O, you could guess you O'd on the 19-21st or so and go from there. (My O date is the 20th, and my due date is Nov. 13th.)

Another option is to get a dating ultrasound around 6-8 weeks for them to measure the baby - it's not perfect, either, but can help if you can't guess on O date.

Thanks Maria! That does help... Last time I was dated w/ an ultrasound, so for now I think I'll use my EDD that I figure out based on what I think my O date would be...then maybe the get ultrasound a bit later...wouldn't wanna make the baby come out before it is done cooking!

In my calculator in acordance with ur LMP ur due is Nov 7th, finally the Doctor will tell you the right one. Vacations are the best thing for making babies, hubby was on Vacations 2 during those days and here I am......Waiting november 1st, again 6 8 & 9 are in our lucky numbers

1st child : homework on the 16th... ovulation on the 18th...homework on the 19th
now : homework on the 6th...ovulation on the 8th...homework on the 9th

same numbers again lol
