What drying racks worked for you....

Hi all, I am not new to CDing but my method of drying will be different. The last apt. we where in we ran some lines in there, this one the design of it wouldn't let us do it so now I am considering drying racks.

I will be mostly using flats, some prefolds, and if I get around to it maybe make some fitted diapers. I am thinking when I wash it would be around 24-36 diapers I would be washing every 2 days. I would like a rack that can be folded away when not in use.

Have any recommendations please share..

TIA

I use a folding drying rack I bought at Target - not the main target brand, but metal rack by room essentials. The wooden Target brand rack immediately broke on me so I returned it. I think this is it.

I have two, and I line dry just about everything, including our diapers.

I have one from Ikea.
I'll try to find a picture of it... here it is.

I got an accordian fold one that you can install into the wall from the container store. We LOVE it and weirdly enough when ppl come over to our house and see it (you have to walk through our mud/laundry room to get to the bathroom), they always ask where we got it, b/c they have been looking for one too. It's nice, b/c when we don't use it, it becomes very compact. I added clips to it (plastic ones, not wooden) to hang my diapers and other hang dry stuff on.

Oh yeah, I use clothespegs with my one too

Here's the link from ikea usa

Flats (i have a whole bunch, i dont use them as diaprs, but as burp cloths, etc) dry soooo fast, it only takes an hour or so

prefolds take a bit longer (10-12 hours i think)

i do always fluff them up in the dryer, as line-dried stuff gets quite stiff.

IKEA!!!!! It is the best drying rack ever and cheap! About 21$. It holds more than any other rack I have seen.

Whatever you get, make sure it is all metal. Some fo the cheaper ones use plastic or cardboard (our cheap one from Target) and they fall apart quickly under the load of heavy wet things.
