I dont either. Even if you were a selective vaxer. Wouldnt it help you be even more selective.

My understanding is that alot of breastfeedings power is with promoting good bacteria in the gut which keeps the "bad" bacteria in check. I am not as concerned with what kind of antibodies the breastmilk provides, just the health of the gut promoted by breastfeeding.

Great video! That just reinforces the decisions I have made.

KimberlyD0, it's not enough to say one sibling on formula is in great health and one on breastmilk isn't. Every individual is different, even siblings. So many other things need to be taken into account. Perhaps if the situation was switched, you would even find the same result. Everything we're exposed to gets into our milk, not just the things we eat and drink. Food allergies are also a common issue. You just never know.

My DH and I were both very sickly though I haven't been since I took charge of my health. I may get sick once a year, but not always. Since DH and I first met, his health has been improving gradually. The only major change in his life has been the addition of lots of vitamin C. He has only been sick 3 times in the past year. I'm fairly certain one of those times he actually had whooping cough which he got from his boss. He's ex-military, so he's vaccinated to the hilt, but all the symptoms were spot on. My DD and I never caught it.
