Know a wahm who dyes yarn to order?

I have 16 oz of Henry's Attic Gaia bulky merino that I'd like to have dyed a solid color. I just cannot get my yarns, or silks for that matter, to come out evenly colored. Does anyone know where I can have this done? I'd prefer a wahm, but it would have to be someone with a solid reputation (unfortunately, I've had not great experiences with wahm's in the past. )

Sharon at Three Irish Girls (there isn't really three, it is just her) will do it.
Choose her "your yarn, our dye" option here.

ETA: If you don't see a color you like, contact her. She does do solids, they just mostly aren't on her page. But she does wonderful custom work.
If you are on Rav, here is her group. Some people have posted custom work from her, and it is beautiful. Like FarmerGOPI's baby set here.

Thank you, that's a great idea. I just passed on a TIG coop because I really do not need more yarn. But her colors are beautiful.

ETA: Woo, pricey though. $10 to dye 4 oz + $6 per each addt'l 4 oz. I rarely pay that much for dyed yarn. 16 oz would be $28 plus shipping. Maybe I better learn to dye.

It doesn't answer your question, but the problem with not getting even coverage is usually an issue of too little water, too little dye, not enough time.

I do this purposely with my yarn so I can have a mottled look, but if I want a solid color, I have to switch from my small dye containers to a large bowl, where the yarn can float freely, use enough dye so that it doesn't all absorb in the first 30 seconds, and let it sit in the dye bath for at least 15 minutes (usually more like 30).

Oh, and don't forget that you have to soak it with acidulated water for at least 20 minutes before dyeing. That also helps prevent uneven uptake.

Well, you kind of talked me into it. I just started a new thread.
