Any schools with shorter hours?

Does anyone know of any schools with shorter days? I'm considering homeschooling but believe there is value in a child going to school for a limited time... like four hours a day. Does anyone know of anything schools like this out there yet?

Moving this to the general Learning at School forum for wider exposure.

We're in Arizona and go to a charter school that offers a 5 hour school day. You have your choice of a traditional full day or one of two 5 hour day options. We do the afternoon 5 hour day option (11am - 4pm) and I ADORE it.

I can't recommend it enough if you can find a program like this. My kids have the exact same instruction time as those kids going a full day but a lot of the "fluff" has been cut out. They still get recess, a snack break, PE, art, music etc... but they just go 5 hours.
