Am I alone here on MDC? I visited my Aunt for her 50th birthday last weekend. She was the one who turned me on to Todd when I was a teen. I saw Utopia open for The Tubes on the Love Bomb tour. I was hooked. Anyway - during my visit we ended up staying up half the night playing our fav albums - Nearly Human for me and Utopia POV.

OK - I've put myself out there. Am I alone? I hope not! Please step up if you are a Todd Fan and tell your story. . . .

I wouldn't really call myself a fan, but hearing "I Saw the Light" gives me a strong sensation of traveling back in time, to my childhood. (I'm very close to your aunt's age.) I love that song.

You saw The Tubes on the Love Bomb tour?!? I'm soooooo jealous! I saw them in '86, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever attended. Now I want to go and listen to "Night People"!

Did you know that actress Liv Tyler thought that Todd Rundgren was her dad for many years? Her mom was actress/model/groupie Bebe Buell, who was in a relationship with Todd for many years. It wasn't until Liv finally met Steven Tyler that she realized he was her bio dad.

I must have been 14? I think Michele Grey was on that tour as she was part of the Tubes . . .. .she later married Todd. Anyway - it was such an awesome show.

I LOVE Caravan . . .. . I also love Mated, Mimi Gets Mad, Play this Game . . .. .

And I did know about Liv Tyler - they are still very close. She considers his 3 sons her brothers . . .

I am in such a TODD phase again right now. . . . I'm all over YouTube . . . Have you seen the Pretending To Care performance with the string quartet . . . .
