Well, this has never happened to me so soon before! - Page 2

I noticed that I could express fluid last night too. I've been waiting for it to come because I've been trying to continue nursing my two year old. I think he was dry nursing for the last 2 months but I'm happy to have something in them again. Right now its clear, much as it was when I was pregnant with him, but I hope it will turn milky soon.

Yup- a little over a month here! Same way with my DS. Pretty soon I will probably have to wear nursing pads to bed- I leaked pretty badly at night with him!

Major lefty preferrer here! But it's me, not the babies - I like having my right hand free. I am going to consciously keep both sides even this time, though - following a lumpectomy and two years of lefty-dominant nursing, my right breast was about two cup sizes smaller than my left. I had implants to correct it, and I'll be darned if I'm going to let it happen it again.

Know what's weird? I did not know that milk came out in many different holes until I was nursing. Totally surprised me. I thought it was more like a bottle. What a shocker when I had 3 or 4 different streams shooting out in all directions! :-)
another left boob'ed mama here i had to nurse dd in the football hold on the right for 2 months because i just couldn't get cradle down on that side... lol.

and i didn't know about the multi-hole thing either! i also didn't know that my "closed" nipple piercings would leak buckets and end up choking my daughter for 8 months! lol

Last pregnancy, I thought I couldn't expect anything until closer to my due date at least.

Well, at 16 weeks I woke up...sticky. It was an odd feeling & I couldn't figure it out. Then I realized I felt like I'd spilled something on my breast in my sleep. On a whim, I gave a little squeeze & then went into panic mode & started screaming at DH, "Oh my god, I'm making milk already...is this normal?!" I remember thinking how early it was & when I told other people who'd had babies, they also agreed it was earlier than they'd had it happen.

This pregnancy? I gave it a shot at 12 weeks & produced some. So I beat my other track record.
