I was born in 1984. Does anyone know which vaccines I would have recieved. I tried researching myself but I couldn't find anything. I was curious as to how many I recieved 25 years ago verse how many there are today.

I was born a few years before you and I got MMR, DTP, Polio and Hep B (later on)

Born 1982. DTP (6,8,10 months; 6 years), OPV (12,14,16 months; 4 years), Measles (13 months). That's it.

thank you!

Edited to say that if you divide up the vaccines like the MMR then there are even more vaccines give! Some people don't realize that the MMR is three different things in themselves

There is only one problem with that.

Did you guys notice though that a lot of those are doubled and tripled? So more vaccinations are split up. This does account for some of the increase. Not all of it of course, but some of it.

The second side (with more) is more detailed including showing the ages and number of times a vax is given. The other gives only a simple list of the vaxes themselves. So is there really as big an incline as they say? hard to say when the first is not detailed at all.

I'm not sure what you're saying. Each side lists each dose at the time. The number next to it is the month it's given.

The listing is accurate.

ad with a graphic display of the number of vaccines given in 1993 versus today. The numbers in parens next to each vax are the age of the child in months. This is pretty clear--there has been a significant increase in the number of vaccines.

1984: 10 jabs/doses (OPV was oral) containing altogether 22 single vaccines

2009: 36 jabs/doses (Rota is oral) containing 49 single vaccines; Prevnar counted as one vaccine, but it really is more as there are several bacteria strains in there...

(i might have miscounted and not gotten all, please correct me if I'm wrong)
