Easiest Longies pattern?

My mom has agreed to try to knit some longies for the new baby I'm having this fall- but she needs a VERY easy pattern. I'd be happy to purchase one, but don't know how to find one that is really good and simple. I think I am looking for one that can be knit flat and then sewn together- I know there's a long list in the sticky above, but was hoping someone could recommend a pattern they've actually used.

TIA!

If you'd consider a knit-in-the-round pattern, I love Sheepy Pants. Every step is spelled out, although the gusset can be a little tricky. The pattern is about 12 pages long, and has lots of pics. I think it costs $6.

I don't know any flat-knit longies patterns.

Tiny bird organics is knit flat- but it doesn't really accomodate for much diaper room. I think the easiest pattern ever is picky pants. I recommend that one- every single detail is spelled out and there are loads of options! Oh and buttknits with the cable butt- those are awesome too!
