MRSA on the rise in children

article discussed community acquired pediatric cases of MRSA infections in ear, nose, and throat are on the rise....

....so why would ANYONE want to create an open wound on a newborn when MRSA is a risk both at home and in the hospital???

I guess if you are given the option between MERsA and AIDS you take MERSA

The closer I get to delivery, the more I want to just have my baby and get out as quick as I can.

Yes that is a very dangerous risk from the surgery. I don't think parents are really informed about the risks.
