i did it last year, but i dont' think i'm going to this year. I'm morning sick and I didnt' end up getting any long-term readers, just a bunch of people who popped in and popped out again. maybe my party post was too boring, although i thought it was really original! It happened to be our doggie's birthday that week, so i did a dog party, complete with pictures of her and us, and imitating the style of 'go dog go' (the childrens book). I didn't see anybody else do anything like that!!!!!

I am thinking about it still. I just did the Bloggy Giveaways carnival in January (or was it February, I forget now) on two of my blogs. My traffic has stayed up on one of them which is good.

I am considering doing this for another niche blog that I have - that blog gets the most traffic out of all of my sites and I'm curious if a giveaway will help. It is an autism/education themed site so I was thinking of giving away some must-have books about special education law, IEPs, etc.
