Blue Hands?

Hi ! Just wondering if anyone of you has ever seen this. My little girl's hands and feet stay Blue or purple alot. Sometimes her hands are cold and I think that is why they are blue or purple, but then sometimes her hands are warm but still purple. Anyone know what it might be from?

I would worry about circulation or a heart related issue. Has she seen a dr.?

Depending on her age, I think it can be normal. While I was waiting to see my midwives once, I remember reading that sometimes new babies can having blue hands and feet. Some of the pictures were pretty dramatic. However, I completely agree with Alegna in that I would take your babe in asap, jic.

Babies' hands and feet can be cold/blue when they are little....

but if your lo is a bit older than 'baby' I would get it checked out... it might be Reynaud's Syndrome which is fairly harmless.

but can be painful! How old is your DD? If she is older, it would be beneficial to take extra precautions to make sure hands and feet and ears are warm.
