Not true....they don't have to and there is no law that they do.

Definitely not true; though they may have some kind of fear of litigation/insurance worries connected to the issue. people will sue over anything...

Definitely not true. People would be hounded every time they entered a doctor's office if it were true. Adults and children alike.

As soon as one entered the doctor's office for anything it would be, "We must get you up to date on your DaPT vaccine/MMR vaccine/chicken pox vaccine/shingles vaccine/meningococcal vaccine/flu shot/Hep B/etc." It's probably not a large number of people (in particular adults) who are completely up to date with all the "recommendations."

No. Professionally bound, perhaps, but not legally. People get confused on this stuff because of the phrase "legally mandated vaccines" which implies that vaccines are legally required...when this is not true at all. Vaccines are required by law for school entry with varying exemption policies in every state. It is possible for almost anyone in the US to get an exemption and still have access to schools and daycares (the 2 most difficult states are MS and WV.)

Of course, the government and big pharma have no problem letting this misconception continue to circulate...they're in no hurry to clear it up.
