New to wool covers!

I just ordered and received an imse vimse wool diaper cover as my baby is reacting to all polyester type covers/diapers.

How do I take care of it? The tag says to use either shampoo from their company or olive oil? I thought I was suppose to use lanolin!? I have no clue.

Can I just put the cover on my baby or do I need to wash it first with something? If you know please share! Thanks!!!

I use spray lanolin--so I just wash with baby shampoo or wool wash, rinse gently, squeeze in a towel, spray with lanolin, then put in front of a fan to air dry.

I wash mine with just a tiny bit of baby shampoo, then rinse, and then lanolize with Lansinoh.
