Hi moms,
I'm in need of a great acupuncturist. I started going for chronic headaches and menstrual cramps but the problem is: every time I go (i've been 5 times) I feel great for 24 hours and then I crash and feel WORSE than before I went. I am going so that I don't have to take over the counter pain killers and then I end up taking Tylenol to offset the side effects from the treatment-seems contradictory! I read online that this could be caused by overtreatment or incorrect treatment. The person I see does not do the pulse/tongue like other places and I'm starting to wonder if I am at the right place. She has also never had anyone say they feel great, then worse so I need someone with more experience. It's expensive and I 'd rather not continue to be spending this sort of money with the wrong provider. I really think it could help me but I just don't know where to go. I'd love any experiences with acupuncturists in the york, kittery, eliot, portsmouth areas. Thanks in advance.
